Meet Dr. Karen Mitchell
Dr. Karen Mitchell is a distinguished chiropractor, deeply committed to promoting health and wellness within the Aubrey, Texas community. Her venture into the realm of chiropractic care is not just a profession but a personal testimony to the transformative power of holistic health practices. Born a in Chicago, Illinois, but moved here 3 years ago from Indiana, Dr. Mitchell's life took a significant turn following a series of medical challenges that fundamentally altered her approach to health and wellness.
Her medical journey began with a gymnastics injury, which led to the development of scoliosis and debilitating migraines. The conventional medical treatments she initially pursued brought her to the brink of disaster, as she found herself entangled in a web of medications. These not only failed to provide relief but also interacted dangerously with one another, precipitating a life-threatening situation. This harrowing experience served as a pivotal moment for Dr. Mitchell, compelling her to reevaluate her health strategy and pivot towards a more holistic approach.
Embracing chiropractic care was a revelation for Dr. Mitchell. Through consistent treatment, she was able to manage her scoliosis and migraines effectively, reclaiming the active lifestyle that had eluded her for so long. This profound personal transformation ignited a passion for chiropractic care, propelling her into a career dedicated to helping others achieve their health and wellness goals through non-invasive, holistic methods.
Outside of her professional life she is a devoted wife and mother to two children Ethan and Kiersten and two step daughters, Amelia and Selene who reside in Indiana. She also enjoys her Siamese cats and her goldendoodle dog. She enjoys yoga, swimming, and nature walks, alongside a disciplined regimen of beach body exercises to keep fit. Dr. Mitchell is also an avid music lover.
Dr. Mitchell practices what she preaches, integrating nutritious, whole foods into her daily routine. She firmly believes in the symbiotic relationship between nutrition and overall well-being, championing the cause of healthy eating to enhance vitality and health.
Dr. Mitchell's academic journey is as impressive as her commitment to chiropractic care. She obtained her undergraduate degrees in Spanish and Pre-Chiropractic Studies from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). She furthered her expertise by earning her doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 2017. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Mitchell is uniquely positioned to serve the diverse population of Aubrey, Texas, and its surrounding areas, including the Hispanic community.
Dr. Karen Mitchell's journey from a patient grappling with severe health challenges to a compassionate and skilled chiropractor is a testament to the transformative power of holistic health practices. Her story is not just inspiring but a vivid illustration of how adversity can forge a path to a fulfilling career dedicated to healing and wellness.

Michelle Clark
Front Desk/Admin/Chiropractic Assistant and Marketer
Michelle is a longtime resident of Providence Village who first discovered the practice as a patient in search of exceptional chiropractic care close to home. After years of traveling long distances for treatment, she quickly recognized the rare combination of skill, intuition, and compassion found right in her own community. Witnessing patients arrive in pain and leave thriving—along with experiencing her own health transformation (and a little bonus “cat therapy” from the office felines)—inspired Michelle to become part of the team.
As a self-described “medical zebra,” Michelle understands firsthand the challenges and perseverance required on a healing journey. This personal experience fuels her passion for supporting patients and families as they navigate their own paths to wellness.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mary Washington University and brings a strong professional background from the auto insurance industry. She is deeply committed to patient advocacy and excels at bridging the gap between administrative efficiency and the personalized, family-centered care the practice is known for. A lifelong learner, Michelle continues to expand her knowledge of clinical therapies and office systems to help ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and at ease.
Outside of the clinic, Michelle is deeply rooted in family life and is raising teenagers. While her earlier years were filled with soccer sidelines and volunteering, she now enjoys yoga, learning about brain health and psychology, practicing Spanish, exploring nature trails, and diving into her favorite thrillers with her book club at the community clubhouse. She also supports children with diverse needs in a Sunday school setting, bringing a calm, attentive, and compassionate communication style that naturally carries into her work with patients.
Michelle’s steady presence, empathy, and dedication make her an integral part of the practice and a trusted support for the families she serves.
